GUITBASS: No Limits Guitar

"Is one of the most important names in the present music scene and the founder of an authentic modern school of music, the Institute of Music and Technology (IMT). His original and personal style reflectes a very special way of feeling and living music, with an impressive virtuosity and ability to compose, away from marketability and clichés. We invite you to know this explorer of music and excellent person".

Interview

"Living music, in the broadest sense, very intensely". That could be Chema Vilchez´s slogan, nowadays one of the most interesting and active guitarist."

Interview

"Unfortunately, we cannot say that fusion gender has many protagonists among Spanish musicians. Neither we can presume of having a recording production that sets us as an important market for artists. Subsequently, it is better few and high quality records than many and debatable ones. The unanimity around Chema Vílchez´s first album comes to confirm the premise. A record as The Dream of the Navigator well deserves five years of drought among our musicians. Thus, not only exacting and expecting audience has recognized it, but all the musicians who have participated in this album: true masters in each of their instruments."

Interviews

GUITARRA TOTAL: The Sacred Nature of Life

"Chema Vílchez, maybe our more surprising electric guitarist in his last record work".

Interview

WORLD MUSIC: "For a jazz musician, Los Angeles is a city of chances"

"We are talking about one of those guitarists who knows to transmit sensibility and technique through all his work. He already showed it with "The Dream of the Navigator", and now with his second CD, "The Sacred Nature of Life", recorded between Los Angeles and New York, recalls again, even more, all those sensations."
